Stats - represent your raw physical skills and abilities. There are 6 stats: Strength, Endurance, Agility, Accuracy, Critical Hits and Reloading. When you level up you will be presented with the level up screen where you will be able to level these and proficiencies. All stats max out at 100 points.

1. Stats

Stats are upgraded at each level up.
Every time you increase a level, you will gain 5 statistic points, and 5 proficiency points.
After level 50, you gain only 1 statistic point, and only 2 proficiency points.

Attributes -

Strength - is needed to equip chainsaws, shotguns, some machine guns and all armors above the XR22 mesh; also affects how quickly you can push things (though there is no furniture in the game as of yet)

Endurance - modifies how much health you have and how long you can sprint.

Agility- modifies how quickly you move, including during sprints.

Accuracy - modifies how much your bullets scatter and how close to the aiming reticule they come.

Critical Hits - modifies how frequent your critical hits are.

Reloading - modifies how long it takes you to reload a weapon. There are rumors it affects melee too, but that is just speculation.




Proficiencies -

Proficiencies represent your character's skill at certain pursuits. The six upgradeable proficiencies are Melee Skill, Pistol Skill, Shotgun Skill. Rifle Skill, Machine gun Skill and Explosive Skill. To use better, weapons, you must have a certain proficiency. The crowbar only requires 25 Melee Skill, but the almighty katana requires a maxes-out Melee Skill of 100.

Proficiencies, like stats, are upgraded at every level. Before level 50, you are awarded 5 proficiency points to spend, and after level 50 you only get 1 point each level.

It is debated whether increasing proficiency also increases damage.

Melee Skill - Needed to hold higher level melee weapons.

Pistol Skill - Needed to hold higher level pistols.

Shotgun skill - Needed to hold higher level shotguns.

Rifle Skill - Needed to hold higher level rifles.

Machine gun Skill - Needed to hold higher level machine guns.

Explosive Skill - Needed to hold higher level explosives.

To gain a level you need to gain a certain amount of experience.
The maximum level is 200.
