ItemsThis is a featured page

Items range from humble plasters to powerful machine guns. Anything that takes up space in your inventory is an item.

Contents
1. Weapons
2. Armor
3. Ammunition
4. Medical Treatments
5. Food
6. Other Items

1. Weapons

Weapons are used to fight the zombie menace inhabiting Fairview. Anything that takes up one of your three weapon slots is considered a weapon. Firearms use ammunition (detailed below), whereas melee weapons, obviously, don't. Weapons all have a certain skill requirement, usually a minimum investment in the appropriate proficiency. Some high level firearms also require an investment in Strength.

For more information, see the Weapons page.

2. Armor

Armor prevents some of the damage caused by zombie assaults. Armor must be repaired by engineers of a certain level. Whenever a zombie attacks you, a portion of the armor's durability stat is removed. When armor has 0 durability, it is broken and will not protect you. Many high-level armors require a certain minimum in Strength.

For more information, see the Armor page.

3. Ammunition

Ammunition, or ammo, is fired from guns. Ammo comes in groups that will automatically combine to form a box of 300 rounds, taking up a single inventory slot. Ammo requires no skill to use, but the weapons themselves do.

For more information, see the Ammo page.

4. Medical Treatments

An essential for any survivor is staying healthy, so medical treatments of all sorts can be administered by doctors. Scientists are able to create medicines in a system similar to that of farmers.

Unlike food, however, no self-applied meds are available past level 20. After level 20, self-applied meds won't get you to Healthy, and doctors must be used.

For more information, see the Meds page.

5. Food

Another essential for survivors, as, without food, one would quickly starve. Food can be eaten at any level, but only food of a nutrition level higher than yours will get you to Nourished status, giving you double the experience per zombie killed.

For more information, see the Food page.

6. Other Items

Rusty Key
A very mysterious item that began appearing several months ago. As of now, the Key has no use, but the fact that it is still present in the game leads some to believe that it will have a use later. It is part of the mysterious trio of the Rusty Key, Severed Hand and Secrenom Keycard.
Rusty Key

Severed Hand
Another mysterious item that was initially part of a week-long quest issued by AdminPwn. While it was eventually found, like the Rusty Key, the fact that the item remains in the games coding leads many to believe it will have a use later. Along with the Keycard and Key, it is one of the mysterious items.
Severed Hand

Secronom Keycard
One of the three mysterious items in the game. While it is the rarest of the three to find it is worthless at the moment since it's use doesn't exist or is still unkown.
