Overview

When resting at Nastya's Outpost, you have the option to scrap an item in your inventory for a small amount of money.

Any item may be scrapped, the higher the requirements, the more money you will gain from scrapping.
For instance, food and medical supplies with a Nutrition and Medical Level 10 are only worth $5, whereas the next level up, Nutrition/Medical Level 20 items are worth $10.
Note: Cooking an uncooked food item does not increase its scrap value.

Also, nearly all master-crafted items scrap for the double base scrapping value. (Player Wense found a normal Bowie Knife, with a scrap value of $100, and then found two different MC Bowie Knives valued at $200.)
Note: Different statistics on Master Crafted items do not impact the scrap value, but will impact its sale price.

Perhaps these scrapping values can be used to stabilize the economy, setting guidelines for the prices of everything.
