Death
Death is a natural occurrence in the world! The souls of those who die depart to the after life, to live forever in eternal happiness. Not in Fair-view! Players die, and get put right back in there.
When players die, they will have to wait a certain amount of time before revival; the actual amount of time to wait is based on their current level. When this happens, players will lose all cash in hand which they were carrying during their venture into the Inner City. However, the cash deposited into their bank account will remain unaffected. Therefore, it is advisable for one to deposit all cash in hand before leaving the Outpost. The status of a player's health will return to "Injured", their hunger level will move to "Fine" (even if previously hungry), and 1/3 of total experience points gained in the current run will be lost. Also if you are on the weekly "top survivors" list and die, you will be knocked of the list.
Dying is something everyone would want to avoid, especially if one has accumulated a considerable amount of experience points and a notable sum of money. There are those who have taken advantage of death, click here
There is almost always a debate about raising or lowering the death penalty. Though many dislike the harsh penalty, many others claim it is completely fair and that one should just avoid dying.
This information does not apply for PVP. When one dies in PVP, health will now be "Injured" and hunger will be "Fine", but the wait time to come back to life is 2 minutes. A player will not lose experience, and players do not risk being knocked off the weekly "top survivors" list.
It was recently added so that when you die you only lose 1/3 of the total experience from the run you died from.
