Ascending Dawn was created by Dreadhawk after a conversation between VoraX and himself. Dreadhawk had applied to Black Dragons with support from VoraX due to his extensive work of detailing the Dead Frontier map with the zombie territories and doors. However, There was something he couldn't agree with, so his time in the Black Dragons was cut short, and he then created Ascending Dawn.

The Inner Sanctum is Ascending Dawn's center. Each member represents Honor, Respect, Responsibility, and Trust. The Outer Circle of Light represents all the members of Ascending Dawn that are not part of the foundation. However, without these key players, there would be no light. And without the light, no Dawn. Each ray of light is a person. Someone who brings warmth and guidance to others. But no member can do this on their own. They need the help of other members, to add to their strength, their light, to bring the Day forward. And the Inner Sanctum is the motivation behind that light, the purpose. Together, we are friends, family. Together, we are the Dawn.

Ascending Dawn's Purposes and Focus:
Ascending Dawn most likely offers the same things that many other neutral-good clans offer.
There are some differing qualities, however. Such as the community of players within the Clan, as well as the structure and organization.
Ascending Dawn is home to many well-known players such as Dreadhawk(Leader), Katejina, ZAN, Kazuhiro, Ectso and others.
AD offers a relaxed family-style community that allows it's members to play freely without restrictions to explore --to it's fullest extent-- the adventure of playing Dead Frontier.
There are not many rules, but some things that are expected of members:
1. Hospitality.
We welcome and shelter all players in these forums, even enemies. Discussions are allowed between warring clans, however, keep the fighting to a minimum and save the real flaming for the battlefield, now that PVP has been released!
2. Generosity.
You are expected, in a way, to contribute to Ascending Dawn. Be it donating money or items to the clan bank/community chest, adding tips or strategies to make game-play more fun/easier, or just in general giving advice/conversing with other players in a positive fashion. We are here for you. We'd like that you are here for us.
3. Effort.
We expect you to make some progress with your character and not play too casually. We understand that there is a world outside and that you can not always play, so if you are going to be inactive, be sure to let us know!
4. Co-operation.
If a moderator or administrator asks something of you, be as co-operative as possible. We'd like to have as few problems as possible.

Ranking System:
Some rays of light are more prominent than others.
Some members become a stronger part of the community.
These rays, become beams.
And when they become beams, they become distinguished from the others.
Though still equal, because without the others, their strength would mean nothing.

Daybringer:
The most prestigiously ranking member, outside of the Inner Sanctum, is named Daybringer.
Someone who sets themselves apart by continuously adding to the community selflessly, with our without repayment.
Someone that the other members can trust and look up to for guidance.
These members must usually be higher than level 30; However, members that give exceptionally to the family will be considered.

Raymaker:
A member that has been who's constant efforts have set them above the mark for membership.
Someone who has dedicated time and energy to be a productive clan member.
Usually level 20 or higher.

Flarefire:
Flarefires(promoted from MorningStar) are members who catch the attention of any rank higher than them.
They are generally newly-recruited members who have put themselves out into the open to be noticed.

MorningStar:
A new initiate to the light.
A basic member.
They are new to the clan but have yet to prove themselves.
The members can be any level.
After level 15, MorningStars can be recommended for promotion to Flarefire, or higher, depending on what level they were when they applied for Ascending Dawn, and their level of co-operation and dedication.
